The 2010 IML Summer High School Program will be held from Monday 11th January, 2010 to Friday 15th, January from 9am - 12:30pm. Enrolments close on the 11th December 2009, please download our enrolment form using the link to the right or contact the IML for enrolment forms and further details.

What is offered during IML Summer High School Program?

Summer High School - Language Course
An intensive one week course in French, German or Japanese.

Course information
The Summer High School - Language Course program is designed for secondary school students. Particular attention will be given to spoken usage of the targeted language. A communicative teaching approach will be utilised by tutors which also includes some cultural content. The teaching and learning focus is on skill acquisition for practical application in real situations with native speakers. The course content is largely coordinated with the curriculum requirements in Queensland Schools.

Summer High School - French Through Drama
4 afternoon sessions to improve French through Drama studies

Course information
The Summer High School - French Through Drama is designed for secondary school students. Learning by using authentic language in a meaningful context, memorising, having fun and being actively involved in group rehearsal and performance of small and simple plays. If you are looking for a challenge this course is directed to your artistic self, giving you the opportunity to stage a drama performance entirely in French.
