Persian Film Festival 2023

The Persian Film Festival is a national film festival celebrating the best contemporary screen culture from Persian-speaking communities in Iran, Afghanistan, and the global Persian diaspora, including those living in Australia.
For its 10th edition, the 2023 Persian Film Festival features 12 features and eight shorts screening in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide. The ‘Resistance Cinema’ program is a festival highlight, created to commemorate the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran.
The Persian Film Festival is one of very few language-specific film festivals in Australia to feature a competitive Awards Program, awarding the Golden Gazelle Award for Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and Best Documentary Film.
