CLOSING DATES
Semester Two Courses - 4 July, 2008
Spring Program - 26 September
Early enrolment is advised as popular classes can fill prior to closing date. Late enrolments are accepted if there is a vacancy, but there is a late fee of $30.
The completed form can be returned by:
- Scanning and emailing as an attachment to iml@uq.edu.au
- Faxing to (07) 3365 8373
- Posting to Institute of Modern Languages, The University of Qld, BRISBANE Q 4072
- Bringing personally to IML Office, Level 2, Joyce Ackroyd Bldg (37) Blair Dve, St Lucia (there is a 30 minutes loading zone in Blair Drive carpark beside the building)
Conditions of Enrolment
- Classes fill quickly in order of payment receipt.
- Courses will run subject to sufficient enrolments being received.
- Anyone 16 years and over may enrol.
- No qualifications or special knowledge required unless specified.
- Confirmation
- A confirmation letter will be sent to you, in the week before classes start, after classrooms have been finalised. The confirmation package includes: class location, textbook list and parking guide.
- Course Withdrawal
- An administrative fee of $30 per course applies when a student withdraws from a course before it commences.
- Refund Conditions
- All refund requests must be made in writing to the Director.
- Please choose carefully. After the course has commenced, we do not give refunds if you simply change your mind, have a change in personal or work commitments or make a wrong selection (see the Fair Trading Act).
- If a course is cancelled by IML then a full refund or transfer will be arranged.
- IML is not responsible for books or materials purchased for a course.
- IML reserves the right to alter any published details and to cancel a course.
- Fees are not transferable to another student or another year.
- Transfer Policy
- During the first three weeks of the course a transfer to another class may be arranged with the IML office, if the level chosen is not suitable and there is a vacancy in the class selected.
