Content Learners will develop skills beyond a basic level for effective communication and enjoyment – speaking and listening using correct pronunciation, reading and writing, and gain more in-depth socio-cultural knowledge. The emphasis is on communication with relevant topics, a fast moving story and lots of exercises for practice.

Content This course uses classical Russian films as the basis for improving your linguistic and cultural proficiency. You will be watching a selection of Russian films dating from 1936-1979, seen and loved by Russian audiences and including a variety of genres. The focus will be on developing conversation skills but there will also be the opportunity to develop your reading and writing skills and grammatical accuracy.

Doing Business in Russia
Content Business is booming in Russia and Australian business people are dealing more and more with their Russian counterparts. The aim of this course is to provide a short intensive cross-cultural briefing that goes beyond delivering mere facts, towards building cultural competencies that can be applied in any business engagement in Russia.
