2009 Courses Feature

       Arabic Level 3

Arabic is a language that continues to grow in popularity every year and, accordingly, we will be offering a Level 3 course in 2009. This course is designed to develop skills in expressing opinions and building fluency in communication. Also, you will have the chance to consolidate your vocabulary in order to feel more confident in talking about your own day-to-day activities and interests.

Higher Levels offered in Cantonese, Croatian, Dutch, Greek, Korean and Polish

Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of students in the past year, the IML will be offering higher levels in a variety of languages in 2009. For our loyal past students of Cantonese, Croatian, Dutch, Greek, Korean and Polish, this is your opportunity to further skills in your chosen language.

Chinese and French courses for the Absolute Beginner

Due to students’ varying backgrounds in language learning, the IML is offering Level 1 courses for the ‘Absolute Beginner’ in both Chinese and French.

If you have never learned either language, formally or informally, then this is the level for you. It is aimed at aspiring learners who wish to understand and appreciate the rich and diverse culture of their nations but have no prior knowledge of the language at all.

       French Level 6

In addition to our regular conversation courses for French Level 6, this year we will be offering a Level 6 short course to further students’ grammatical skills. This course is designed for students who feel confident expressing themselves in French across a wide range of situations and who wish to extend their linguistic competency and accuracy. You will have the opportunity to focus on specific skills in order to develop a greater mastery of the language.
